Report access and email privacy
Updated October 27, 2026. This notice supplements the Wind Water Atelier privacy policy for our personal and relationship report tools.
Full-report access
Your own email address and an access code are required to open the full report. We store your email, report type, first and latest access dates, access count, and notice version in a private Cloudflare D1 database. We use these records to manage report access. This step does not store birth details, another person’s email, or report contents, create an account, email the report, or enroll you in marketing. The free preview remains available without providing an email. A parent or legal guardian should supply their own email for a minor’s report.
Marketing is a separate choice
The unchecked, optional marketing box is for adults 18 and older. If selected, we store your email, signup source, the consent wording and version, request and confirmation dates, and subscription status in a separate list. Resend sends a confirmation email; we only mark you subscribed after you confirm. Confirmation links expire after 48 hours. Unconfirmed records are removed after seven days during subsequent requests. Neither WWA list enrollment nor report access subscribes you to Joy Luck Dating.
Retention, unsubscribe, and deletion
Report access records are retained for up to 12 months after last access, with deletion during subsequent access requests. Confirmed marketing records remain while you are subscribed. Unsubscribing stops marketing; we retain the email and unsubscribe status to prevent accidental resubscription unless you request deletion. Future marketing emails must include an unsubscribe option. You can also request unsubscribe, access, correction, or deletion by emailing natalie@windwateratelier.com. Clearing a report or browser storage does not delete server-held contact records.
Providers and security
Cloudflare hosts these contact records; Resend processes confirmation messages and delivery records under its policies. Short-lived keyed hashes and counts limit repeated requests; raw network addresses are not stored in these contact tables. Hosting providers may process technical logs independently. This is not independent verification of age, parental authority, email identity before report access, or chart permission. We do not sell these contact lists or add chart information to them.
